The Chrysalis Theatre is an impressive building and has become recognised as a prestigious venue, not only in Milton Keynes but also beyond, with the famous names of Warwick Davis, Priscilla Presley, Barry Humphreys, Felix Dennis and Jonathan Dimbleby (BBC Radio 4’s Any Questions?) amongst others all gracing its stage.

We work on various external as well as internal projects and workshops that are for and about adults with learning disabilities and autism alongside other significant events that are held in our theatre.

We are particularly interested in innovative, ‘high-quality’ productions of plays, music and dance that can provide the community with a broad perspective of performance. We are keen to work with organisations that share our values of environmental sustainability, community, empowerment and accessibility.

The Chrysalis is not a commercial venture; rather, it seeks to generate income to meet its running costs and enable its development, upkeep and improvement for all users.

We hire the Chrysalis, and its surrounding buildings as a venue for conferences, large and small training sessions, meetings, lectures and screenings, craft fairs and more.

We have worked with many local and wider organisations, communities and groups including Grace Church, MK Symphonia, Phoenix Rising, MK Arts for Health plus many more.

If you are interested in renting our theatre for your event, please contact us and let us know how we can make it happen.

Car parking can be an issue for large groups. The limited car parking at Camphill MK is primarily for the use of staff and visitors.

Hirers are asked to respect this and to accept that they may not always be able to park on site. The Parks Trust car park for Peace Pagoda is just opposite Camphill MK, and there is a walkway across the main road (V10 Brickhill Street MK15 0AH) that leads right to the Camphill site.
