MK Piano Celebration 2025 – 6th December

Bringing the MK Piano Celebration 2025 local event to a resounding conclusion, the Evening Recital will feature short performances given by six local teachers, after which there will be a recital by international recording and concert pianist Ivana Gavrić, who will play music from her new album ‘Throwback to Dance’ and from her five previous recordings.

Ivana Gavrić has attracted international acclaim for her interpretations of a broad range of repertoire and storytelling programming, her playing described as ‘electrifying’ (BBC Music Magazine) and ‘impressive, insightful…ravishing’ (Washington Post). We are extraordinarily honoured to have a soloist of her calibre and international reputation right here in Milton Keynes, and no music-lover should miss this! You can find out all about Ivana and listen to many clips of her extraordinary playing on her professional website here.

This recital is geared toward family audiences, is FREE for children and young people up to age 18, and Ivana will introduce each piece to bring the music to life. Suitable for children, inspiring for players of all ages, this is a unique opportunity for music-lovers in Milton Keynes to hear piano playing of the highest order.
