People of MK flock to the Chrysalis to take part in Question Time MK

Many years ago the Chrysalis was the venue for the famous Radio 4 programme Any Questions, since then it has ben theatre manager Martina’s aim to host a similar more local event for the people of Milton Keynes.  Finally we set a date and on the 4th of April the people of MK turned up in their droves to put their questions to representatives from the major local political parties.

The evening was chaired by local Theatre Producer and writer David Pibworth, who managed to keep the panel and audience in check.  The format of the evening meant question forms were completed upon arrival and not proxy, this gave the panel no time to prepare their answers keeping them very much on their toes during the evening. They responded very well with none of the panel getting flustered and the audience leaving happy with their questions being answered.  The panel was made up of representatives from all of the major parties; Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrats, Green Party and UKIP, there was also a member of the public Sean McDermott.  Thank you to everyone who attended the event and made it such a success, we hope all your questions and many more were answered.
